The LeBron 8 Playoff Pack: The Next Stage of Evolution.
As one of the most talented basketball players, making him one of the most talented athletes, period, from Nike, LeBron James did not surprise any of the athletes that the Oregon-based company provided considerable care. When his Miami Heat marched towards the playoffs, leave it to Nike to produce something specifically for him to use in their matches for the championship. Enter the Nike Air Max LeBron 8 Playoff Package.
Nike Air Max Lebron 8 PS is the third and final step for the evolution of the LeBron 8 shoe line. The shoes are completely modified while maintaining the original genuine silhouette. Replacing Nike Flywire technology is the same mesh-based material used in their best-selling Hyperfuse shoes. Also, the pads for these shoes are very different. Instead of Air Max 360 sole found on the LeBron 8s V1 and V2, it was replaced with an Air Max 180 unit for the heel. At the front, Zoom Water is used to cushion the toes. Also, for additional support for your foot arches, integrated carbon fiber flake plates. Amazingly, this modification allows the Lebron 8 Playoff package to weigh 2.5 ounces lighter than Lebron 8 Version 1.
Nike released Air Max Lebron 8 PS on April 16, just in time for the Miami Heat’s first NBA Playoff 2011 match against the Philadelphia 76ers. And coinciding with this release is the Playoff Pack, the first color that will hit retail stores. The first colorway of the playoff package released is white. It features a predominantly white base. The inside of the shoe is red, which comes out through the Hyperfuse pores to create a nice white / red effect. The black spotlight, which is most visible in the swoosh logo, is strategically placed to create the right contrast. The second Colorway of the Playoff Pack displays a black base, with red and white spread widely with details such as rope, swoosh and heel. The black colorway is as good as the white one. Most people who see the LeBron 8 Playoff Pack like it, in fact, based on feedback, it’s probably one of the most popular shoes on the LeBron line this year.
